Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) was certified for operation in May 1983. In response to over two decades of record-breaking growth, a bright, modern, state-of-the-art terminal opened in 2005. RSW served more than 7.3 million passengers in 2012, and is one of the top 50 U.S. airports for passenger traffic.
